Date set for Scotland Loves Local Week 2025

  • By Scotland’s Town Centre Recovery Campaign
  • on January 22, 2025
  • in Scotland Loves Local, Business Improvement Districts, Scotland Loves Local Partners, Scotland's Towns, Shop Local, Small Businesses, Towns and Communities

The third Scotland Loves Local Week will take place from Saturday August 23 2025.

There will once again be seven days of events to showcase and celebrate tremendous people, businesses and initiatives which make our communities so special.

The week will also shine a spotlight on the dedication, determination and innovation which will shape a stronger, more sustainable and successful future.

Scotland Loves Local Week is organised by Scotland’s Towns Partnership, which spearheads the wider Scotland Loves Local initiative.

Employment and Investment Minister Tom Arthur, centre, signing the Scotland Loves Local Pledge as part of Scotland Loves Local Week in Paisley last summer

At its core is the drive for people to choose local, supporting the people and businesses who are foundation of creating better places. That simple act of thinking local first helps protect jobs, keeps enterprises alive, encourages investment and makes the places we call home vibrant and attractive.

Scotland Loves Local Week is the ideal opportunity to celebrate how amazing your community is and champion a call to action for even greater support from local residents.
