Government Minister celebrates Scotland’s ‘outstanding’ local businesses

The Scottish Government’s Business Minister hailed the “outstanding” contribution of local businesses to the national economy as he joined in celebrations to mark Scotland Loves Local Week 2026.

Tom Arthur joined Glasgow’s four Business Improvement Districts as they joined forces to urge everyone to fly the flag their communities by supporting enterprises in them.

We caught up with Mr Arthur, who shared his thoughts on Scotland Loves Local Week in the video below.
