CJ Lang and Son Limited is steeped in history – more than 100 years of it, in fact, within the Scottish retail and wholesaler marketplace.
Dating back to 1919, CJ Lang & Son is the wholesaler for SPAR Scotland, owning over 100 stores and distributing daily to over 250 independent retailers. Our network of SPAR stores in Scotland stretches from Gretna in the south to Kirkwall in the north and all are serviced from our multi-temperature distribution centre in Dundee.
Community is at the very cornerstone of everything we do at SPAR Scotland. We operate in some of the smallest villages and most remote parts of the country. We consider our customers to be our neighbours with our staff, not only working but living in the communities too.
With more than 50% of the products on our shelves sourced in Scotland, we are hugely passionate about all things local – whether that’s supporting local suppliers, supporting local community groups and charities by donating monies across the year or by encouraging our neighbours and friends to very much shop local.
We can all make a positive difference to our communities by thinking, choosing and spending local.
